ELEPHANTS
I love walking in the forest. My children don’t always share that enthusiasm — sometimes they find it downright boring. So I sing songs with them, usually about elephants. About mummy elephant and daddy elephant, or Colonel Hathi’s song.
Half an hour later, we’re singing about the fireman elephant, the Christmas elephant, the giant elephant and the gnome elephant. And before they know it, we’ve walked for miles and we’re already back at our little house.
What do you do to motivate your children for a walk in the woods?
I’d love to hear it! Share your creation and your story with #_viswijf
