LITTLE VERSES
At noon I would climb onto the windowsill above the radiator in the school library. There, in my warm little spot, I devoured one book after another. I slipped into the heads, the bodies and the adventures of the main characters and felt deeply connected to their world.
In the evening, before going to bed, I would sit at my little desk. It was placed in the darkest corner of my attic room, right under the sloping roof. I switched on the light, put on my favourite song, and wrote small poems – inspired by my beloved characters. What a heroine I felt back then!
Did you do that too? Write little verses? And did you also hide them in the darkest corner of your house – or not at all?
