PLANTS
If plants suddenly start walking into my house, then I know: my mourning period is over.
And you can take that literally: my best friend asks if I want to buy a plant with her. So, I walk home with the same plant. Later, another friend comes by with tomato plants. A bit later, cuttings from a third friend’s garden enter my house.
And then I start itching to bring beautiful houseplants into my home myself. They’re called Bernard, Louise, Napolina, and Leon – because I dare to embrace life again.
Do you have that too? And do you also name your plants? Or how do you recognize that your mourning period is over?
